Ken Brown is a lucky man.
Taking accordion lessons as a kid in the 1950s, Ken could have become another Myron Floren or Lawrence Welk wannabe. But a later love for bluegrass, country, Cajun, Tex-Mex, and other string music led Ken to learn to play the acoustic guitar, dobro, bass, and other instruments. Ken's first band, Oregon's Pumpkin Ridge, led to stints with Nightly Bluegrass Report, Sidekicks, and Daddy's Advice in Oregon, then the Chevak Fiddle Band and Ungak & the Maklaks in the Alaskan Bush.
Now Ken has the opportunity to play with some of the best musicians in Fairbanks and Anchorage, Alaska, and to travel extensively while playing music with his friends.
Ken really is a lucky man!
